Mumbai, July 14: The Alpine Texworld IPO opened for subscription on Tuesday, allowing investors to place bids for the ₹126.25 crore public issue. Like many IPOs in the first few hours of bidding, investor participation has started on a cautious note. As of 10:39 AM, the issue was subscribed 0.04 times, with retail investors contributing the bulk of the early applications.

The retail portion has attracted the strongest response so far, while bidding from the NII segment has also begun. Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), excluding anchor investors, are yet to make meaningful participation, which is common during the opening hours as institutional bids generally pick up closer to the closing day.

The IPO is a fresh issue of 1,20,24,000 equity shares worth ₹126.25 crore. It is being offered in a price band of ₹100 to ₹105 per share, and investors can bid in lots of 142 shares.
