Mumbai, May 15: Antarctica Limited approved a proposal to raise up to ₹69 crore through a rights issue of equity shares, according to a regulatory filing submitted to the stock exchanges.
The company’s board, in its meeting on Thursday, approved the issuance and allotment of equity shares with a face value of ₹1 each on a rights basis to eligible shareholders. The pricing, entitlement ratio and record date for the issue will be decided subsequently by the board or the Rights Issue Committee.
As per the exchange disclosure, the board also approved the draft letter of offer and related documentation for filing with the National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
The company further constituted a Rights Issue Committee comprising Arvan Arvindbhai Prajapati as Chairman, Nitinbhai Babubhai Karan as Member and Sarikaben Sanketkumar Ladani as Member.
In a related development, the board approved an increase in the authorised share capital of the company from ₹67 crore to ₹87 crore, subject to shareholder approval. The company also approved the draft postal ballot notice for obtaining member approval for the capital increase.
