Ashok Leyland Sales Jump 38% to 21,038 Units in August

New Delhi: Commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland on Tuesday reported 38 per cent year-on-year rise in total sales at 21,038 units in August 2026.

In the year-ago period, the sales stood at 15,239 units. Domestic sales were up nearly 43 per cent at 19,438 units as against 13,622 units in August 2025, Ashok Leyland said in a statement.

Sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles in the domestic market were at 12,408 units as against 7,991 units in the year-ago month, registering a growth of 55 per cent, it added.
