  • LCV Segment: Faced headwinds in May with a 4% decline, though cumulative figures remain slightly positive YoY.

Strategic Outlook

Ashok Leyland’s steady performance in the M&HCV category underlines its leadership in the heavy-duty commercial segment. Despite softness in the LCV and export segments, the company has maintained growth momentum through robust domestic demand and market penetration.

With a cautiously optimistic market environment and ongoing infrastructure investments, the company is poised to strengthen its commercial vehicle portfolio further in FY26.
