Asian Markets Begin the Day in Red

US markets were closed yesterday, 26th May, 2025 because of memorial day holiday.
European markets closed the day in green yesterday. Euro Stoxx 50 ended the day, up by 69.02 points or 1.30%. Germany’s DAX ended the day, up by 398.07 points or 1.68%. France’s CAC 40 ended the day, up by 93.73 points or 1.21%. European markets got a boost after US President Donald Trump deferred the imposition of 50% tariff on European imports to USA, till 9th July.
At 8: 40 a.m. Indian standard time, 27th May, 2025, Nikkei 225 index is down by 91.21 points or 0.24%. Hang Seng is down by 44.40 points or 0.19%. Shanghai composite is down by 9.41 points or 0.28%. South Korean KOSPI is down by 13.35 points or 0.50%. SGX is down by 0.070 points or 0.50%.
Indian markets getting negative cues from Asian markets today
Indian markets ended the day in green yesterday. Nifty 50 closed the day, up by 148 points or 0.60%. Sensex closed the day, up by 455.38 points or 0.56%. Indian markets are getting negative cues from Asian markets today.
