Hyderabad, Wednesday, November 26, 2025 Avantel Limited surged slightly after the company announced a new purchase order of ₹17.55 crore from BEL (Bharat Electronics Limited) related to the supply of a communication system. The company disclosed it through a regulatory stock exchange filing. The stock opened at ₹160 per share, which was considerably higher than the previous closing of ₹151.21. At 11:00 AM, the share price of Avantel Limited was trading at ₹154.56 (2.22% higher than the previous closing price). After opening strongly, the stock has moved sideways in the first couple of trading hours.

Avantel Limited is a listed defence and aerospace technology company specialising in satellite communications, RF systems, and mission-critical communication solutions. Incorporated in 1990, the company operates manufacturing facilities in Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad.

Contract Highlights

As per the regulatory filing, the order relates to the production and supply of communications systems. The total value of the order is ₹17.55 crore, which includes a 5% bank guarantee. The order will be completed by March 2026. The filing also suggests that the order is completely domestic and does not include any third-party transactions.
