Growth Drivers & Insights

  • Export Recovery: Bajaj Auto witnessed strong double-digit export growth across both 2-wheelers and commercial vehicles. Exports surged 22% overall, led by a 20% increase in 2-wheeler exports and 37% growth in commercial vehicle exports.
  • Domestic Headwinds: While 2-wheeler domestic sales inched up by 2%, commercial vehicles saw a 7% dip YoY. The year-to-date figures indicate a contraction of 6% in domestic volumes, underscoring tepid local demand.

Management Commentary

Executive Director Rakesh Sharma noted that the performance reflects continued momentum in international markets despite a flattish domestic environment. Export recovery is expected to sustain in the coming months with improvements in shipping and forex conditions.
