In equity markets, Monday’s pre-open session saw Bajaj Finance rally 2.41% to ₹956, leading the Nifty gainers, followed by ONGC and Power Grid. On the flip side, Sun Pharma dropped 1.35%, with Adani Ports and Adani Enterprises also in the red. The Nifty 50 index itself inched up by 13.75 points to 24,732.35, up 0.06%, as the market prepared for a flat-to-positive start.

Bajaj Finance saw aggressive buying interest with 163,353 buy orders in the pre-open compared to 35,617 on the sell side, setting the Indicative Equilibrium Price (IEP) at ₹956.

ONGC also showed strength, settling at ₹253.99, up nearly 1%, backed by higher demand and 149,116 traded shares.

With buying interest in financials and oil PSUs and pressure in pharma and infra, traders are likely to focus on stock-specific action. Macro cues, including global bond yields and crude oil volatility, will remain pivotal in the session ahead.
