Bharat Dynamics Secures ₹2,461.62 Crore Orders from the Indian Army Since November 13

Hyderabad, December 2: Bharat Dynamics has announced that it has received numerous orders worth a total of ₹2,461.62 crore from the Indian army since November 13, 2025. The company informed stock exchanges yesterday, on December 1, that it has received the orders from the Indian Army. The orders are for the supply of anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and surface-to-air missiles (SAMs).
Bharat Dynamics Limited (NSE: BDL, BSE: 541143) is a “Miniratna” Category-I Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the ownership of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It serves as India’s primary manufacturer and system integrator for guided missiles and underwater weapon systems for the Indian Armed Forces. The company was established in 1970, and is headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Bharat Dynamics Order Details
In a regulatory filing, Bharat Dynamics said that it has secured additional orders valued at ₹2,461.62 crore from the Indian Army since its last disclosure on November 13, 2025. The company said that the new orders were confirmed in the second half of November. Under the orders, Bharat Dynamics is required to supply anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and surface-to-air missiles (SAMs). It said that it is required to supply the ATGMs within 42 months and SAMs within 12 months. The company also announced that other key terms of these contracts remain confidential due to national security.
Bharat Dynamics Financial Highlights
The company also announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 30. Its net profit rose to ₹216 crore, from ₹123 crore a year earlier. The company’s revenue from operations increased to ₹1,147 crore, more than double from last year’s figure of ₹545 crore. Its EBITDA was ₹188 crore for Q2 FY26, compared to ₹98.8 crore in the same quarter last year. The EBITDA margin rose to 16.4%.
Shares Rise by 1.12% at ₹1,547.50
As of 10:24 AM, Bharat Dynamics share price was up by 1.12%, or 17.20 points and was trading at ₹1,547.50. Until now, the shares have traded within a range of ₹1,560 and ₹1,530. The traded volume for the Bharat Dynamics stock stood at 12.95 lakh shares, with the company’s market cap at ₹56,095 crore. The shares have their 52-week high at ₹2,096.60 and their 52-week low at ₹907.
