Mumbai, April 29: Ceinsys Tech Limited said Wednesday it has secured an international contract worth ₹20.85 crore from Georgia’s Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, even as its shares slipped modestly in trade.
The project involves building a GIS-based land information system and has been awarded to a consortium that includes Magnasoft Consulting India Private Limited and GIS and RS Consulting Centre GeoGraphic LLC, according to an exchange filing.
The scope covers design, supply and installation of the system, with an implementation period of eight months followed by a 32-month maintenance phase. The total contract value stands at ₹20,85,16,017, inclusive of taxes, equivalent to about $2.2 million.
Stock Market Snapshot
Ceinsys Tech share price edged lower despite the announcement.
The stock was trading at ₹1,091.00, down ₹3.75, or 0.34%, as of 3:15 p.m. IST on April 29, compared with the previous close of ₹1,094.75. It moved between ₹1,071.00 and ₹1,111.55 during the session, according to exchange data.
The muted reaction suggests investors are viewing the contract as incremental rather than a major earnings trigger.
Expanding International Footprint
While not a large-ticket order, the deal adds to Ceinsys Tech’s growing presence in overseas markets.
Projects like these help the company build credentials in geospatial systems and land management solutions areas where governments are increasingly investing in digital infrastructure.
Execution Will Drive Impact
The contract includes both implementation and a multi-year maintenance component, which could provide steady revenue over time.
However, as with most projects of this size, the financial impact will depend on execution, timelines and delivery across phases.
