Centrum Capital Ltd informed the exchanges on February 18, 2026 that it has issued a ₹35 crore corporate guarantee in favour of Suryoday Small Finance Bank Limited for a loan availed by its subsidiary, Centrum Housing Finance Limited, according to a Regulation 30 filing.

Centrum Capital Ltd operates as a diversified financial services group with exposure across housing finance, asset management and advisory businesses. Through Centrum Housing Finance Limited, it participates in the affordable housing finance segment.

The company’s shares are listed on the National Stock Exchange of India under the symbol “CENTRUM” and on BSE under Scrip Code 501150.

Corporate Guarantee Backing 60-Month Term Loan

In its disclosure (Ref: CCL/SEC/2025-26/62), the company said the guarantee covers a term loan of ₹35,00,00,000 extended to Centrum Housing Finance Limited for a tenure of 60 months.

The intimation was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, read with SEBI Master Circular No. HO/49/14/14(7)2025-CFD-POD2/1/3762/2026 dated January 30, 2026.

Centrum Capital holds 56.39% of the equity share capital of its housing finance arm. The filing notes that, owing to this ownership structure, commissions may not necessarily be charged to subsidiaries when corporate guarantees are provided in favour of lenders.

The company described the guarantee as a contingent liability. In practical terms, this means the obligation would arise only if the borrowing entity fails to meet its repayment commitments. At present, Centrum Capital stated there is no impact on the listed entity.

Such guarantees are commonly used within financial groups to help subsidiaries secure funding, particularly for longer-tenure facilities.
