CNG Rate Today, June 17, 2026: CNG Prices Hold Steady on Wednesday Across India, Unchanged from Tuesday

Mumbai, June 17: Compressed natural gas prices across India remained unchanged on Wednesday, with every major city tracked in the national survey holding firm at Tuesday’s levels. The pause extends a now multi-day stretch of stability in CNG pricing, even as crude oil has continued to soften on prospects of renewed Iranian supply following the emerging US-Iran ceasefire details. 

New Delhi continued as the most affordable major CNG market in the country at Rs 83.09 per kg, unchanged from Tuesday, while Firozabad held its position atop the national pricing ladder at Rs 98.00 per kg. Mumbai, supplied by Mahanagar Gas Limited, stayed flat at Rs 86.00 per kg. Chennai, Bangalore, Bharatpur and Mathura all held at Rs 97.00 per kg, level with Hyderabad, which also remained unchanged. 

Dewas stayed steady at Rs 96.00 per kg, while Sonipat held at Rs 94.00 per kg and Rewari remained unchanged at Rs 87.70 per kg. In the NCR region, pricing showed no movement either: Meerut held at Rs 91.58 per kg, Noida and Ghaziabad both stayed at Rs 91.70 per kg, and Gurugram remained the cheapest in the immediate NCR cluster at Rs 88.12 per kg. 

With city gas distributors holding prices steady for a second straight session, market attention now shifts to the next scheduled revision window, expected around month-end. Should the Iran-US ceasefire hold and crude prices sustain their recent decline, that window could bring the first meaningful round of CNG price cuts since the conflict began disrupting global energy markets earlier this year.
