CNG Rate Today, June 29, 2026: CNG Prices Remain Unchanged in All Cities on Monday; Firozabad Is at Costliest Spot At ₹98

Mumbai, June 29: Prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) remained unchanged in all the Indian cities on Monday. None of the city gas distribution companies announced a price revision after Thursday. With rates remaining at ₹83.09 per kg in New Delhi, the national capital continues to be the cheapest spot to purchase CNG in India. The price of CNG in Delhi is almost Rs 15 cheaper than rates prevailing in Mumbai at ₹86.00 per kg and in NCR satellite cities Noida and Ghaziabad at ₹91.70 per kg. 

There was no change in price reported by any city across all the 15 cities monitored today. Global energy markets remained under pressure last week and while Brent crude oil prices dipped marginally after having touched pre-war levels last week, they ticked higher again over the weekend as the Iran war truce appeared to be on shaky ground once more with both the U. S. and Iran exchanging strikes. 

CNG prices in Gurugram are currently ₹88.12 per kg while in Rewari citizens have to spend ₹87.70 per kg to refuel. Rates in Noida and Ghaziabad are at ₹91.70 per kg as both cities are catered to by Indraprastha Gas Limited’s feeder network. In neighbouring Sonipat CNG costs ₹94.00 per kg while users in Meerut have to spend ₹91.50 per kg. 

Citizens using CNG in Mathura and Bharatpur pay ₹97.00 per kg as do users in Dewas while in Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad the fuel costs ₹98.00 per kg which is the highest price for CNG among all cities being tracked currently. In Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad prices are unchanged at ₹97.00 per kg. 

CNG prices are determined by the city gas distribution companies that supply it and usually change only after an announcement by the firm that inputs costs have changed on a sustainable basis or there has been a change in the domestic gas supply allocation policy or direction issued by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board. With Brent briefly touching pre-war prices last week before reversing higher on news of Iran-U. S. strikes over the weekend the city gas distribution firms are likely to wait and watch if input costs soften over the next couple of weeks before announcing a price change. If global gas prices continue to soften on increased flows through the Strait of Hormuz, we could see prices come down at the pump.
