Crompton Greaves Wins ₹287.18 Crore Contract for Solar Water Pumping Systems in Maharashtra

Friday, December 12, 2025: Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited has reported to the exchanges that the company has secured a major contract worth ₹287.18 crore. The contract is awarded by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). It relates to designing, supplying and installing solar water pumping systems (1214 in total), across the state of Maharashtra. The order is an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) activities tender under the government’s agricultural infrastructure initiatives.
Details, Scope, and Execution of the Project
As per the regulatory filing, the timeline for the project shall be decided by MSEDCL. The project is expected to support off-grid irrigation and water management solutions across the state of Maharashtra. The project falls under the PM-KUSUM B and related state programs.
Stock Price Movement
On Friday, the share price of Crompton Greaves closed at ₹255.10 which was 1.43% more than the previous closing price. The total market cap of the company is close to ₹16.34K Crore.
Crompton Greaves is one of the leading consumer electrical and durables companies. It produces fans, pumps, lighting and home electrical solutions and recently has expanded its footprint in the renewable energy and solar infrastructure projects around the country.
