Dhara Rail Projects Limited secured a ₹3.90 crore railway maintenance contract from Eastern Railway for tower wagon maintenance over a 24-month period, while the stock traded slightly higher on May 10.

Mumbai, May 8: Dhara Rail Projects Limited informed stock exchanges that it has secured a work order worth ₹3,90,37,364.10, including GST, from the Howrah Division of Eastern Railway for maintenance services related to tower wagons.
According to the regulatory filing submitted under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the contract was awarded by the Electrical Office of the Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer, TRD, Eastern Railway, Howrah, West Bengal.
The scope of work involves comprehensive maintenance of 10 eight-wheeler tower wagons for a period of two years within the Howrah Division of Eastern Railway.
The company said the execution timeline for the contract is 24 months.
Dhara Rail Projects also clarified that the order has been classified as a domestic contract and does not involve related party transactions. The company added that promoters and promoter group entities do not have any interest in the awarding authority.
Tower wagons are critical maintenance vehicles used in railway traction and overhead electrification systems, making such contracts an important part of railway infrastructure upkeep and operational continuity.

The stock traded around ₹131.50 during the morning session on May 10, compared with the previous close near ₹129, according to exchange data.
