Mumbai, 5 January 2026: Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited announced that it has received an order value of ₹72.51 crore from Larsen and Toubro 

Pursuant to the relevant provisions of SEBI (Listing Obligation and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company informed stock exchanges that it has received a letter of intent from Larsen & Toubro Limited, Construction for Supply of Power Cables worth Rs. 72.51 crore, exclusive of GST. 

Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd (DPIL), also known as DIACABS, is a Vadodara-based manufacturer and solution provider for power transmission and distribution (T&D) with products such as cables, conductors, transformers, transmission towers and EPC services for utilities and industries with pan-India presence. 

Order for the Supply of Power Cables; Not Related-Party Transaction 

According to the company, this is a domestic order and relates to the supply of power cables on a “kilometre rate basis with PV formula” structure. With this pricing mechanism, the pricing can be revised based on price fluctuation, such that it provides some protection from raw material price fluctuation during execution. 

The Term of the Agreement shall be from January 6, 2026, to September 30, 2026. For consideration of ₹72,51,24,746 (less applicable taxes), the order is a major boost to D͏iamond Power’s order book as well as for revenue visibility into the next few quarters. 

The company also stated that none of its promoters / partner group entities / group companies have any stake in Larsen and Toubro Limited. It also said the deal was not a related-party transaction and that the order had been awarded “on a purely commercial basis at arm’s length.” 

Diamond Power Infrastructure Share Price Rise 2.55% after Order Announcement 

After the order announcement, at͏ 1͏:͏42 pm͏ IST on the NSE, Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited share price rose ₹3.͏49 ͏or 2.55% to tra͏de at ₹140.50. The stock ͏opened at ͏₹137.85. The market capitalization of the company stood at ₹7.40 thousand crore, with a P/E of 119.60. The 52-w͏eek high is ₹183.50, while the 52-w͏eek low is ₹81.50. ͏
