Domestic Silver Futures Rise to Rs 2.46 Lakh per Kg

New Delhi: Silver prices rose 0.09 per cent to Rs 2.46 lakh per kg in futures trade on Monday, supported by fresh position building by participants.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the white metal for September delivery increased by Rs 222, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 2,46,819 per kilogram in a business turnover of 3,748 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
In the overseas market, silver futures decreased 0.19 per cent to USD 68.86 per ounce.
