Enviro Infra Engineers Stock Gains Over 3% After Vento Power Infra Acquisition

Mumbai, August 22, 2025 — Shares of Enviro Infra Engineers Limited (NSE: EIEL, BSE: 544290) appreciated 3.18% in Friday’s trading as the company declared that it has acquired Vento Power Infra Pvt. Ltd. through its subsidiary, EIE Renewables Pvt. Ltd. The agreement was inked with PTC India Financial Services on August 20, and it was completed for a cash consideration of ₹115.6 crore.

Share Price Update

Enviro Infra Engineers closed at ₹268, with a gain of 3.18% for the day. The stock has dipped 29% in the last year and 16% in the previous six months. In the last five trading days, the counter has surged 5.16%.

On today’s trading session, the stock opened at ₹261 and fluctuated between a high of ₹260.95 and a low of ₹274. The shares’ 52-week range falls from a high of ₹391.60 to a low of ₹182. The recovery in volume and price indicates increasing investor interest as the company ventures into renewable energy.

Deal Details

• Enviro Infra Engineers’ renewable arm acquired 100% of Vento Power Infra Pvt. Ltd.
• The acquisition is ₹115.6 crore in cash.
• Vento has a 40 MW grid-connected solar power plant in Bolangir, Odisha.
• The project has a fixed tariff of ₹4.1 per unit, for around 18 years under contract.

Strategic Significance

The deal is Enviro Infra’s foray into clean energy. Vento’s long-term solar project gives stable, tariff-linked revenues, which are a good fit for Enviro Infra’s transition to sustainable businesses. The management views the deal as a significant milestone in diversification from its traditional water infrastructure business into renewable energy.

Member of the NIFTY Microcap 250 index, Enviro Infra Engineers is involved in water management and supply projects. With the acquisition of Vento, the company is expanding its reach in green infrastructure, strengthening its core capabilities with an expanding renewable energy portfolio.
