Everest Industries to Invest ₹1.76 Crore in Amplus Ampere

Everest Industries Limited, a leading building solutions company, today announced that its Board has approved a strategic investment in Amplus Ampere Private Limited, a SPV focused on Renewable Energy. As we informed, the development is in line with Everest’s strategic objective of enhancing clean energy utilization in its operations in Maharashtra.
Deal Overview
Everest will invest ₹1.76 crore to acquire 17.6 lakh equity shares of Amplus Ampere at a face value of ₹10 per share. The acquisition represents a 3.12% stake in Amplus Ampere Pvt Ltd.
The deal will also allow Everest to source 5.5 MWp of solar electricity from Amplus’s 54.94 MWp plant capacity under a group captive policy. The closing date of the transaction will take place by September 30, 2025.
Purpose and Strategic Fit
The investment is driven by Everest’s ambition to boost the share of renewable energy in its power mix. By availing captive open access solar energy, Everest aims to:
- Lower its dependence on conventional energy sources
- Reduce carbon emissions across its Maharashtra operations
- Comply with clean energy mandates and optimize power costs
Regulatory and Shareholding Details
The transaction does not qualify as a related-party transaction. It will be executed entirely in cash and at arm’s length terms, with no promoter group involvement.
The investment aligns with Everest Industries’ broader sustainability goals and clean energy strategy. This move marks Everest’s entry into captive solar energy sourcing and reflects its commitment toward responsible, sustainable, and cost-effective operations.
