Gillette India’s Q1 Net Profit Rises 9.4% to Rs 159.45 Cr, Revenue Grows 11%

New Delhi: Shaving products maker Gillette India Ltd on Thursday reported a 9.44 per cent year-on-year increase in profit at Rs 159.45 crore in the June quarter of FY27.
The company had reported a profit of Rs 145.69 crore in the corresponding April-June quarter of the preceding year, Gillette India said in a regulatory filing.
Revenue from operations increased 10.8 per cent to Rs 783.02 crore in the June quarter of FY27. It was at Rs 706.72 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
Gillette India’s total expenses were up 10.85 per cent at Rs 574.22 crore in the reporting quarter.
Increase in profit was “driven by double-digit topline growth and intentional productivity initiatives,” said Gillette India in its earnings statement.
Its revenue from the grooming segment was up 9 per cent to Rs 628.65 crore.
Revenue from oral care also rose 19 per cent to Rs 154.37 crore, the company said.
The total income, which includes other income, was at Rs 788.24 crore in the June quarter, up 10.5 per cent year-on-year.
Shares of Gillette India Ltd on Thursday were trading at Rs 7,775 apiece, down 1.43 per cent from the previous close.
