Gold and Silver Price Today: June 12, 2025 Update For Key Cities

Thursday, June 12th: On Thursday, June 12th, the Indian bullion market exhibited a mixed performance for precious metals. While gold futures saw a slight uptick, spot prices for both gold and silver retreated after recent movements.
Gold Price Update
- Gold Futures (August 5 delivery) on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) experienced a minor increase, reaching Rs 96,725 per 10 grams.
- However, in the spot market, gold prices dipped to Rs 96,850 per 10 grams, a decrease from Rs 97,010 recorded on the previous day, according to the Indian Bullion Association.
Silver Price Update:
- Silver witnessed a downward correction, with the price standing at Rs 1,05,750 per kg on Thursday, down from Rs 1,07,030 per kg on Wednesday.
- July 4 futures for silver also saw a slight dip of 0.06%, settling at Rs 1,03,555 per kg.
- This retreat follows a recent period of volatility, during which silver futures had hit a record high of Rs 1,04,947 per kg.
