Since India imports most of its gold, any shift in global prices or currency movements is quickly reflected in domestic markets.

The sharp rally follows stronger global bullion prices and renewed investor demand, taking gold to its highest level this month. Going forward, international market trends and currency movements will remain the key drivers of domestic gold prices.
