Gold prices in Bangalore extended their rebound on July 31, with retail rates rising for the second straight session. The 24K gold rate climbed to ₹14,460 per gram, while 22K gold rose to ₹13,255 per gram. Even after the recent recovery, prices remain below last week’s highs.

Bangalore, July 31: Gold prices in Bangalore edged higher on Friday, adding to Thursday’s gains as the market continued to recover from the sharp correction seen earlier this week. While the rebound has offered some relief to buyers, prices are still below the levels seen just over a week ago.
According to today’s retail rates, 24-karat gold is priced at ₹14,460 per gram, up ₹27 from the previous session. 22-karat gold has increased ₹25 to ₹13,255 per gram, while 18-karat gold is trading at ₹10,845 per gram, up ₹20.
The latest move suggests buying interest has returned after this week’s weakness, though the market is still looking for stronger cues before reclaiming recent highs.

Gold Continues to Regain Lost Ground
The recovery that began on Thursday carried into Friday, with gold posting gains for the second consecutive trading session. Together, the last two sessions have helped reverse a part of the sharp decline witnessed earlier this week.
However, the rebound isn’t complete yet. 24K gold is still ₹191 per gram below its July 22 level of ₹14,651, showing that prices have only partially recovered from the recent sell-off.
