Gold prices in Delhi extended their recovery on July 31, with retail rates rising for the second straight session. The 24K gold rate climbed to ₹14,475 per gram, while 22K gold advanced to ₹13,270 per gram, recovering further after the sharp correction seen earlier this week.

Delhi, July 31: Gold prices in Delhi moved higher on Friday, extending Thursday’s gains as bullion continued to recover from the sharp sell-off witnessed earlier this week. Although the market has bounced back over the past two sessions, prices are still below the highs recorded in late July.
According to the latest retail rates, 24-karat gold rose ₹27 to ₹14,475 per gram. 22-karat gold gained ₹25 to ₹13,270 per gram, while 18-karat gold advanced ₹20 to ₹10,860 per gram.
The steady rebound suggests buying interest has returned after last week’s weakness, though market participants continue to monitor international bullion prices, the rupee’s movement against the U.S. dollar and global economic cues.

Gold Continues to Recover After Weekly Correction

Why Gold Prices Change Every Day
Gold prices in India are influenced by international bullion rates, fluctuations in the rupee against the U.S. dollar, import duties, inflation expectations and central bank policy decisions. Domestic jewellery demand, geopolitical developments and overall investor sentiment also contribute to daily price movements.
Conclusion
Gold prices in Delhi strengthened for a second straight day on Friday, with 24K gold rising ₹27 to ₹14,475 per gram and 22K gold advancing to ₹13,270 per gram. While the latest gains suggest the market is stabilising after last week’s correction, prices remain below their recent highs, leaving investors focused on global bullion trends for the next major move.
