Mumbai, May 5: Takyon Networks Ltd has secured a work order worth ₹83 lakh from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the supply of active network components, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The order includes both supply and installation services and has been classified as a domestic contract. According to the filing dated May 5, 2026, the company considers it a medium-sized order within its business operations.

Execution is expected to be completed within 90 days, with the timeline running up to July 31, 2026.

Stock Market Snapshot

Shares of Takyon Networks rose 0.72% to ₹26.45 as of 13:17 IST on May 5, 2026, compared with the previous close of ₹26.26, based on exchange data.

The uptick reflects a positive, though measured, response from the market. Investors appear to be taking note of the order as an incremental addition to revenue visibility, especially with its link to defence sector procurement.

The company said the transaction does not involve any related party and has been carried out on an arm’s length basis. It also confirmed that promoters and group entities do not have any interest in the awarding organisation.

No additional regulatory approvals are required for executing the order, as disclosed under applicable listing regulations.

While the company has not provided a detailed payment structure, the contract covers both supply and installation of active network components under standard commercial terms.

Business Focus
