Stockholm/Noida, September 23, 2025: HCL Technologies Limited announced today that it has secured a renewed and expanded multi-year digital transformation agreement with one of the world’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturers, headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden.

HCL Technologies Limited is a leading Indian multinational information technology (IT) services and consulting company. The company was established on 11th August 1976, and its headquarters are in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The shares of the company are listed on NSE with the ticker symbol HCLTECH and on BSE with the code 532281.

Modernising and Enhancing IT Infrastructure

Under the new agreement, HCL Tech will modernise and enhance the Sweden automaker’s IT infrastructure through AI-powered digital foundation services. HCL Tech will use its proprietary GenAI-led platform, AI Force, to deliver platform-based managed services, hyper automation, and full-stack observability.

These AI-driven solutions from HCL Tech are expected to provide one-click IT service provisioning, improve operational efficiency, and enhance both employee and customer experience. The technology will also support the client’s sustainability goals by enabling more responsible and efficient IT practices.

Strengthens its Position as a Key Digital Transformation Partner

HCL Tech said that this expansion strengthens its position as a key digital transformation partner in the global automotive sector. The collaboration builds on a long-standing relationship and reflects the growing importance of AI-enabled digital infrastructure in the industry.

Jagadeshwar Gattu, President of Digital Foundation Services at HCLTech, said the company is committed to building a “future-ready digital foundation” for its clients. Pankaj Tagra, Corporate Vice President, highlighted that the renewal reinforces HCLTech’s leadership in the automotive vertical, one of its key global growth areas.

Shares Close 0.70% Lower

At the end of today’s market session, HCL Technologies share price closed 0.70%, or 10.10 points lower at ₹1,429.80. The shares made an intraday high of ₹1,44.20 and a low of ₹1,420.40. The traded volume stood at 31.06 lakh shares, with the company’s current market cap at ₹3,90,741 crore.
