Mumbai, October 21: HCL Technologies Limited shares rose 3.21% to close at ₹1,424.20 on Wednesday after the company announced the launch of an AI-powered verification and validation (V&V) solution for automotive software. The offering uses NVIDIA’s simulation technology and AI capabilities to help automakers and Tier 1 suppliers streamline software testing.

AI Solution Targets Software-Defined Vehicles

HCLTech’s new offering combines agentic AI, physical AI-powered simulation and intelligent orchestration to automate parts of the vehicle software validation process. It is designed to help automotive manufacturers manage increasingly complex software systems, frequent over-the-air updates and changing regulatory requirements.

The solution connects requirements, test creation, execution, analysis and compliance evidence across the validation lifecycle. It aims to improve scenario coverage, help teams investigate test failures faster and maintain digital records linking requirements with test results and compliance reports.

The platform integrates HCLTech’s automotive engineering expertise with NVIDIA technologies, including NVIDIA Omniverse, Cosmos, Alpamayo, Omniverse NuRec and Isaac Sim. It also uses the NVIDIA Agent Toolkit and NVIDIA Nemotron open models to coordinate AI agents across validation workflows.

According to HCLTech, simulation-based testing can help automakers assess rare and safety-critical scenarios virtually, reducing reliance on physical testing and improving visibility into software release readiness.
