Mumbai August, 31: HEC Infra Projects Limited has received a ₹12.78 crore work order from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited for cable and associated transmission work in the Rajkot zone, while its shares remained largely flat during Monday’s session.
As per the company’s exchange filing, the order covers the laying, erection, testing and commissioning of 66 kV cable infrastructure for various lines in the Rajkot zone.
The project includes 1C x 300 sq mm and 1C x 630 sq mm XLPE cables, along with poly aluminium and aluminium corrugated cables. The work is to be completed over 24 months.
This is a domestic order from GETCO, Gujarat’s state transmission utility. The filing also states that the contract is not a related-party transaction.
For HEC Infra Projects, the order adds another transmission and power-infrastructure project to its execution pipeline. The company said such work could also help it pursue similar opportunities with government and private-sector customers in other states.

Order Involves Installation And Commissioning
The ₹12.78 crore contract is not limited to the supply of cables. HEC Infra Projects will also undertake the physical laying, erection, testing and commissioning of the cable systems.
The project involves multiple cable specifications and is spread across various works in the Rajkot zone. With a 24-month execution period, the order should be delivered in stages over the project cycle.
The company has not disclosed a detailed revenue recognition schedule or payment milestones for the contract.
GETCO Order Adds To Transmission Order Pipeline
HEC Infra Projects operates in the infrastructure space, with its activities including electrical and power-related projects.
The latest GETCO order gives the company another assignment within the transmission segment and comes with a defined execution period. It also provides an opportunity to build further credentials in cable installation and commissioning work.
The company said none of its promoters or promoter group entities have an interest in the entity awarding the order. The contract has also been confirmed as outside the related-party transaction category.
₹12.78 Crore Project To Run For 24 Months
The total order value stands at ₹12.78 crore, and the company is expected to execute the project over 24 months.
