NHAI Awards Two Projects Across Rajasthan and UP

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has awarded two new contracts, further strengthening operational visibility for the company across key highway stretches in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

In Rajasthan, the company has secured responsibility for user fee collection and maintenance at the toll plaza on the 4-lane Greenfield expressway spur connecting Delhi–Vadodara near Bandikui to Jaipur. The contract is valued at ₹18.97 crore. It has been awarded under the Hybrid Annuity Model. Operations are scheduled to begin on September 11, 2025. The targeted execution timeline is 90 days.

In Uttar Pradesh, the company has bagged a much larger assignment for managing toll operations and upkeep at the Muzaina Hetim Fee Plaza, located at Km 361.902 of the Gorakhpur–Kasia–UP/Bihar Border section of NH-28. This contract is worth ₹69.78 crore. It carries an execution period of 365 days, with takeover slated for October 18, 2025.

These fresh orders not only expand the Highway Infrastructure’s tolling portfolio but also underscore NHAI’s continued trust in its ability to manage critical infrastructure efficiently.

The company’s stock movement today is driven by the confirmed execution of these toll projects, strengthening Highway Infrastructure’s annuity income stream and expanding its operational footprint across Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
