December 01, 2025: The Securities Issuance Committee of the Board of Directors of Hindustan Construction Company Limited (NSE: HCC | BSE: 500185) will be meeting today to discuss the right issue of shares of the company. 

Key Details of the Right Issue of Shares

The Securities Issuance Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company met to discuss the same on November 26, 2025, and approved the issue of fully paid-up Equity Shares of face value of Re.1 each of the Company. As per the company’s regulator filing made on November 26, 2025, the right issue would not exceed Rs 1,000 Crore (Rupees One Thousand Crore).

Other key terms and specific details of the issue will also be discussed during the meeting. This will include the issue of price, the related payment mechanism, the entitlement ratio, the record date, and the timing of the Rights Issue. The company clarified that the right issue will be made in accordance with the Companies Act, 2013, and the Securities and Exchange Board of India Regulations.

History of Right Issue

If approved, this will mark the third rights issue of the company since 2018. Prior to this, the company made a rights issue in 2018. It was in the ratio of 49.0:100.0, with the record date and ex-date set on November 20, 2018, and November 22, 2018, respectively. The company then made another rights issue in 2024. It was in the ratio of 13.0:118.0, with the record date and ex-date set on March 15, 2024, and March 16, 2024, respectively.
