Kolkata, February 5, 2026: Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL) has declared an interim dividend of ₹1 per equity share for the financial year 2025-26, representing 20% of the face value of ₹5 per share. The dividend decision was approved by the Board of Directors at its meeting held on Thursday, February 5, 2026. 

Key Dates and Timeline 

The company has set Friday, February 13, 2026, as the record date for determining shareholders eligible to receive the interim dividend. 

The dividend will be paid only electronically on or before Friday, March 6, 2026, in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Companies Act of 2013 and SEBI regulations. 

Hindustan Copper Ltd Financials 

For the quarter that ended December 31, 2025, the company reported total income of ₹705.31 crore, up 105.3% year over year, and EBITDA of ₹262.50 crore, up 112.7% YoY, the company’s net profit margin increased to 22.2% from 18.3% the year before. 

The company reported ₹1,921.84 crore in revenue for the nine-month period ending December 31, 2025 (9M FY 2025-26), a 43.4% YoY increase, and ₹476.61 crore in net profit, a 71.4% YoY increase, with an EBITDA margin exceeding 40%.  

Impact on Shareholders 

As of February 13, 2026, shareholders listed in the Register of Members or Depositories will be eligible for the dividend of ₹1 per equity share. The dividend has no effect on the company’s share capital or ownership structure because it does not involve any dilution, bonus issue, or stock split. 

According to the Income Tax Act of 1961, dividend income is taxable in the hands of shareholders, and the company will deduct tax at source (TDS) at the applicable rates prior to payment.
