Hyundai Motor India Among Nifty Next 50 Top Gainers, Stock Surges Over 4%

Hyundai Motor India Limited (NSE: HYUNDAI) was among the top gainers in the Nifty Next 50 index on Monday as its stock rose 4.61% to ₹2,475.60, compared with the previous close of ₹2,366.60. The counter witnessed high buying interest throughout the day, contributing to the gains in the index.

Stock Performance

Hyundai shares fluctuated between ₹2,367.00 and ₹2,484.50 during the day before closing near the day’s upper band. The stock is now only 5.7% below its 52-week high of ₹2,624.50, touched on August 19, 2025. In the last 30 days, the counter has provided a breathtaking 12.74% return, beating most of its auto sector counterparts.

Nifty Next 50 Closes Higher

The Nifty Next 50 index settled at 67,831.50, up 291.40 points or 0.43% from its previous close of 67,540.10. Market breadth remained robust with 38 advancing stocks, 12 declining stocks, and none remaining flat, indicating investors’ sentiment as firm on the board.

Hyundai topped the gainers list in the index followed by pharma and IT counters displaying whopping gains.

• Zydus Lifesciences (NSE: ZYDUSLIFE) closed at ₹1,020.00, which is up by 3.16%.
• Info Edge (NSE: NAUKRI) ended at ₹1,411.60, gaining 2.25%.
• LTIMindtree (NSE: LTIM) settled at ₹5,330.00, higher by 2.02%.
• Divi’s Laboratories (NSE: DIVISLAB) closed at ₹6,257.00, up 1.72%.

Hyundai’s sharp rally firmly positioned it as the top mover in the Nifty Next 50, boosting market confidence and underlining strong momentum in the auto space.
