Interarch Building Solutions Pvt Ltd, a major player in the Indian pre-engineered building (PEB) industry, has signed a deal to purchase 20 acres of industrial land in Attivaram Village, Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh, a move that will expand its existing manufacturing capabilities.
The land, located adjacent to its existing facility, will house Unit 2, a new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant dedicated to Pre-Engineered Heavy Steel Structures.
Increasing The Capacity And Sectoral Reach
Scheduled facility will be double the size of the existing plant and support the growing needs of sectors like:
- Infrastructure
- Data centers
- Semiconductor manufacturing
- Renewable energy
The new manufacturing facility will not only increase Interarch’s capacity and technical knowledge but will also have a positive impact by creating jobs and further establishing its pan-India delivery capabilities.
Management Commentary
Arvind Nanda, Managing Director, Interarch Building Solutions Limited, said: “This Unit 2 expansion is a significant milestone in our expansion to further expand our footprint and meet the increasing demand for custom pre-engineered structural steel solutions. This new space further enables us to meet the demand for complex end-to-end projects within next-gen sectors.” It also embodies our pledge to support India’s infrastructure expansion through innovation, technology, and meaningful employment over the long term.”
This launch comes after the successful commissioning of Phase 1 of Interarch’s Andhra Pradesh facility in September 2024. Work on the follow-up phase, which is phase two now under construction, is on schedule and is scheduled for completion by the end of June 2025.
Apart from industrial, Interarch Life also introduces the new age load-bearing wall panel systems for non-industrial buildings. These are also lightweight, drywall-like systems that are earthquake- and termite-proof and offer:
- Fast, hassle-free assembly
- High durability and safety
- A variety of designs, shapes, and sizes
- It had to be take-apartable or scalable, though.
This proposal offers customers an efficacious and flexible form of construction, particularly fitting to the modern urban and semi-urban development requirements.
