Jyoti Structures Signs Cross-Border Transmission Infrastructure Contract

Jyoti Structures secured a Sri Lanka transmission infrastructure contract with Hayleys Fentons, while the stock traded lower on May 14, 2026.

Mumbai, May 15: Jyoti Structures signed a joint venture contract with Hayleys Fentons Limited for the construction of the Mannar–Mullikulam 220kV Double Circuit Transmission Line project in Sri Lanka.
The mandate has been awarded by National Transmission Network Service Provider (Private) Limited under the Mullikulam Wind Power Transmission Project. The contract relates to evacuation infrastructure for power generated from the Mullikulam Wind Power Projects into Sri Lanka’s national electricity grid, according to company’s exchange disclosure on Thursday.
The company stated that the project strengthens its international transmission portfolio and expands its presence in regional power infrastructure markets. The project also aligns with Sri Lanka’s renewable energy transmission expansion plans.
Jyoti Structures said the execution scope includes development of high-voltage transmission infrastructure as part of a cross-border engineering partnership with Hayleys Fentons, a Sri Lanka-based solar EPC and MEP contractor.
Jyoti Structures Chief Operating Officer Amit Dutta, said in the release that the company expects the project to reinforce its transmission infrastructure positioning across India and overseas markets.
