Kellton Tech Launches Digital Oilfield Monitoring Platform With Oil India; Shares Rise 1.38%

Kellton Tech and Oil India launched a large-scale digital wellhead monitoring platform aimed at improving upstream oilfield operations and production intelligence.

Mumbai, June 9: Kellton Tech Solutions announced the successful launch of a large-scale digital wellhead monitoring initiative for Oil India Limited (OIL), aimed at modernising upstream oilfield operations through real-time production intelligence and AI-driven analytics.
The company disclosed the development through a press release submitted under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
According to Kellton, the deployment has been executed using its proprietary Optima Digital Oilfield Platform. The implementation contract, valued at approximately $2.5 million, was awarded in December 2024.
The project integrates real-time data from 77 production wells across 46 operational sites onto a unified cloud-connected platform. The system combines edge-to-cloud monitoring infrastructure, wireless and wired sensors, telemetry gateways and solar-powered field systems to improve production visibility and operational decision-making.
Kellton said the platform also incorporates predictive maintenance, workflow automation, digital twin environments and integrated asset lifecycle management capabilities.

The Optima platform has been designed specifically for upstream oil and gas environments and enables operators to monitor production assets in real time, automate workflows and generate AI-driven operational insights.
Kellton said the deployment includes Emerson field instrumentation and AWS cloud infrastructure as part of the integrated technology stack supporting the platform.
Oil India, India’s second-largest national exploration and production company, stated that the initiative enhances operational efficiency, field visibility and production transparency while supporting its broader digital transformation roadmap.
The company added that the platform establishes a scalable and future-ready foundation for ongoing optimisation and innovation initiatives across field operations.
Deployment Strengthens Kellton’s Energy Technology Presence
The successful implementation further strengthens Kellton’s presence in industrial digital transformation and energy-sector technology solutions.
The company said its Optima platform has already seen deployments across energy enterprises in India, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Iraq, Peru and Ecuador.
Kellton currently provides cloud, AI, enterprise platform and digital engineering services across multiple global markets. The latest Oil India deployment adds to its portfolio of industrial AI and connected infrastructure projects within the energy sector.
