November 27, 2025: Kesar India Limited (BSE: 543542) has acquired a 24,256 sqm plot in Hingna, Nagpur, marking a significant expansion in the company’s land holdings. The site has the potential to support nearly 1.5 million sqft of development, with estimated revenue of around ₹900 crore.

Kesar India Limited is a publicly-listed real estate developer with a portfolio spanning residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties. The company focuses on high-potential urban markets, leveraging growth in developing cities to expand its presence and create shareholder value.

Prime Parcel of Land to Underpin Mixed-Use High-Rise Project

Kesar India described the acquisition as a “golden opportunity” to meet the rising demand for integrated urban living and commercial spaces in Nagpur. The company plans to develop a mixed-use high-rise project on the land, further consolidating its position in Maharashtra’s rapidly growing real estate market.

Strategic Importance for Growth Pipeline

The Hingna acquisition aligns with Kesar India’s long-term strategy, positioning Nagpur as a key urban and commercial hub. The purchase not only adds to the company’s future development pipeline but also accelerates value creation for stakeholders. This addition strengthens the firm’s presence in an area with substantial demand potential.

Acquisition Metrics and Revenue Potential

The 24,256 sqm land parcel marks a notable expansion of Kesar India’s Nagpur portfolio. With over 1.5 million sqft of planned development, the site is projected to generate revenue of ₹900 crore, enhancing the company’s growth visibility in the near to mid-term.

Stock Performance

The last traded stock price of Kesar India was at ₹875; there was no share movement due to only 400 shares being traded.

A Word From Management

According to the press release of Kesar India, the acquisition was a manifestation of their pledge to supply quality real-estate offerings in these emerging urban markets. The company, seeing the fast urbanisation of Nagpur as the strongest argument for the land purchase, believes that this action will most probably result in a reinforcement of the firm’s long-term development pipeline.
