U.S. New Home Sales Pull Back From Upwardly Revised Level In July  

New home sales in the U.S. decreased from an upwardly revised level in the month of July, according to a report released by the Commerce Department on Monday. The Commerce Department said new home sales fell by 0.6 percent to an annual rate of 652,000 in July after surging by 4.1 percent to an upwardly revised rate of 656,000 in June.  

US Building Permits Fall Short of Forecast, Signaling Economic Caution  

The latest data on Building Permits in the United States has been released, revealing a decline of 2.2%. The drop in permits, which are a key indicator of future construction activity, suggests a potential slowdown in the country’s economy. The actual number of permits fell short of the forecasted decline of 2.8%. While the decrease was not as steep as predicted, the fact that the number of permits issued was still in the negative indicates a cautious outlook among builders.
