Kirloskar Pneumatic Q2FY26 Profit Declines 53% YoY to ₹43.8 Crore; Revenue Falls 10%

Pune, October 28, 2025: In its recent regulatory filing, Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Limited (NSE: KIRLPNU, BSE: 505283) reported its financial performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2025. During Q2FY26, the company’s standalone net profit declined by 53% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis, tanking to ₹43.2 crore as compared to ₹92 crore in Q2FY25. The company’s revenue from operations also dropped by 12.2% on a YoY basis, going from ₹430.7 crore in the same quarter last year to ₹378.1 crore.

The company reported weak financial results on a YoY basis; however, a decent increase on a QoQ basis. Its revenue from operations was ₹378.1 crore, a 12.2% decrease from ₹430.7 crore in Q2FY25, but a 39.0% increase from ₹272.0 crore in Q1FY26. The total income also reached ₹384.9 crore, an 11.9% decrease from Q2FY25’s ₹436.9 crore and a 37.4% increase from Q1FY26’s ₹280.2 crore. The most significant decline was noticed in profit before tax and net profit, which reached ₹57.0 crore and ₹43.2 crore, a 38.0% and 36.1% YoY decrease from Q2FY25’s ₹92.0 crore and ₹67.6 crore, respectively.

However, the company was able to recover on a QoQ basis as it recorded a 54.9% and 53.7% increase from Q1FY26’s ₹36.8 crore and ₹28.1 crore, respectively. As the quarter ended, September 2025 also marked the H1FY26, during which the company posted a net profit of ₹71.3 crore, which is a 24.5% decrease on a YoY basis, whereas the revenue fell to ₹650.1 crore as compared to ₹705.9 crore a year earlier.

Segment Performance

The company operates in two main segments, compression systems and other non-reportable segments. Revenue in the compression systems was of ₹346.4 crore for Q2FY26, a 15.4% decline on a YoY basis, and revenue for the other non-reportable segments was ₹ 37.1 crore, a 48.8% increase on a YoY basis.

Market Reaction

As of October 28, 2025, the share price of Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Limited closed at ₹1,150.00, a sharp decline of 0.91 % or 10.60 points. The stock opened lower at ₹1,139.00 and witnessed a relatively muted trading session, with a traded volume of 4.26 lakh shares and a turnover of ₹48.21 crore. The company’s market capitalisation stood at ₹7,465.24 crore.
