L&T Bags Construction Orders Worth ₹5,000 Crore in Delhi and Andhra Pradesh

Engineering major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Tuesday said that its Buildings & Factories business division has won ‘large’ orders worth between ₹2,500 crore and ₹5,000 crore from the Central and Andhra Pradesh governments, further augmenting its public infrastructure order book.

L&T has reportedly been awarded the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) to construct Common Central Secretariat buildings 6 and 7 in New Delhi. The scheme involves two buildings, one of which has a basement, two podiums, an upper ground floor, and six more floors

Apart from this, it has secured another high-profile order from the Andhra Pradesh government for the design and construction of the State Legislative Assembly building. The building will include a basement, ground floor, and three more floors. The two projects have a delivery period of 18 months, the company said.
Q4 Performance Highlights
L&T has announced strong financial performance for the quarter ended March 2025:
- Net profit grew 25% YoY to ₹5,497 crore from ₹5,024 crore
- Revenue increased 11% YoY to ₹74,392 crore
- EBITDA grew by 13.4% to ₹8,202 crore
- Operating margin edged up to 11% from 10.8%
- The board has recommended a final dividend of ₹34 per equity share, pending shareholder approval.
