Lupin said the product is intended for the long-term management and treatment of moderate to severe COPD. The company cited data indicating that more than 55 million people in India live with COPD, highlighting the size of the respiratory disease burden in the country.
The launch gives patients and healthcare professionals another fixed-dose option for COPD management, subject to the approved product indications.

Nilesh Gupta, Managing Director of Lupin, said the launch is aimed at addressing unmet needs in respiratory care by combining innovation with accessibility.
Rajeev Sibal, President, India Region Formulations, said Formoflo-G® MDI brings three established therapies together in one inhaler and adds to Lupin’s respiratory portfolio.
The company said it ranked second in India’s respiratory therapy segment, based on IQVIA MAT March 2026 data. The latest product launch further strengthens its presence in the segment.
