Mumbai, June 1, 2025: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (NSE: M&M; BSE: 500520) posted strong sales growth across both its automotive and farm equipment divisions for May 2025, underscoring continued demand for its ICE and EV product lines as well as sustained momentum in the rural segment.

Farm Equipment Division: Tractor Sales Rise 10%

“Early advancement of the above-normal Southwest monsoon, positive sentiment from MSP hikes, and supportive government schemes are expected to sustain rural demand and boost productivity.”


Strategic Outlook

Mahindra’s growth in SUV and LCV sales aligns with rising consumer preference for utility vehicles and strong traction in last-mile mobility and EVs. In the farm segment, healthy reservoir levels and government support schemes are expected to drive further demand in the upcoming Kharif season.

Both business units recorded solid YTD growth for FY26:

  • Auto YTD Sales (UVs): 1,04,761 units, up 24% YoY
  • Farm Equipment YTD Sales: 80,697 units, up 9% YoY
