Mumbai, October 14: C.E. Info Systems Limited (MapmyIndia) share price is trading in the green today, after Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw publicly praised the Mappls navigation app in a post on X (formerly Twitter), calling it a “must-try app”. As of 11:10 AM, the shares were up by 3.59%, or 64.30 points, and were trading at ₹1,853.10. Until now, the shares have traded within a range of ₹1,859.80 and ₹1,782.20. The traded volume stood at 3.58 lakh shares, with the company’s market cap at ₹7,789 crore. The shares have their 52-week high at ₹2,203.95 and their 52-week low at ₹1,513.

C.E. Info Systems Limited, popularly known as MapmyIndia, is an Indian company that provides advanced digital maps and location-based Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. It was established in 1995 and is headquartered in New Delhi. The shares of the company are listed on NSE with the ticker symbol MAPMYINDIA and on BSE with the code 543425.

Minister’s Endorsement for Navigation Maps

The rise in the share price comes after Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw publicly praised the Mappls navigation app in a post on X (formerly Twitter), calling it a “must-try app”. In the post, he praised its features such as 3D Junction Views, real-time driving alerts, and Fastag-linked trip cost estimations. These innovative features help in enhancing driving safety and user convenience.

The company also announced that the Railway Minister has announced plans to collaborate with MapmyIndia through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU will aim to integrate the company’s mapping and navigation technology into railway applications. This would make travel planning and commuter information more intelligent and connected.

C.E. Info Systems, in its regulatory filing, confirmed the endorsement and stated that the Minister’s appreciation highlights the growing importance of indigenous mapping technologies in strengthening India’s digital infrastructure. The company added that innovations such as Mappls Junction View and in-vehicle integration are designed to make driving in India safer, smoother, and smarter.
