Marico entered the hair-cleansing category with the launch of Parachute Advanced Protein Shampoo, extending its flagship Parachute Advanced brand into a new growth segment, while shares gained 0.81%.

Mumbai, May 26: Marico Limited has announced its entry into the hair-cleansing segment with the launch of Parachute Advanced Protein Shampoo, marking a significant category extension for one of its flagship brands.
According to company release, the launch expands Parachute Advanced beyond hair oils into shampoos, leveraging the brand’s strong equity in hair care and coconut-based formulations.
The new range combines coconut milk with natural ingredients and is positioned around preventing protein loss in hair. Marico said the portfolio includes variants addressing concerns such as hair fall control, shine and damage repair.
The company has introduced eight variants across multiple pack sizes ranging from 80 ml to 1.2 litres, targeting consumers across general trade, modern retail and e-commerce channels.
