Marine Electricals Secures ₹4.97 Crore Order from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders

Marine Electricals (India) Ltd announced a new order win of ₹4.97 crore from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. The order is in the nature of the supply of spares for the P15B Integrated Bridge System (IBS) of the Naval system. This is the company’s strategy to boost domestic manufacturing of defence products.

Order Details

The agreement to be performed during the next 12 month is pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The order is purely for spares and consumption and is not a related party transaction, the company clarified.

“None of the Promoter/Promoter Group has any interest in the aforesaid work,” the company clarified in its regulatory filing, further emphasizing its commitment to corporate transparency and good governance.

Strategic Significance

This order strengthens Marine Electricals’ foothold in the naval and defense sector. The P15B (Project 15B) destroyers are advanced guided missile warships being built by Mazagon Dock for the Indian Navy, and the IBS is a core component in the vessel’s navigational suite.
