The company disclosed the development through an exchange filing under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

According to the filing, one of the orders has been received from Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) for supply of an electrical turnkey package. The delivery timeline for the order is expected to be between four and five months.

Marine Electricals also received an order from Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited for supply of switchboards and electrical equipment, with execution scheduled over a similar four-to-five-month period.

In addition, the company secured an order from Material Organisation, Vizag, for supply of an Integrated Bridge System. The delivery for this order is expected to be completed over 12 to 14 months.

Defence And Shipbuilding Orders Strengthen Pipeline

The latest contracts add to Marine Electricals’ existing order pipeline in marine electrical systems and defence-related engineering solutions.

The company supplies electrical and automation systems for marine, industrial and infrastructure applications, including specialised products used in naval and shipbuilding operations.

The order from Material Organisation, Vizag, is particularly linked to integrated navigation and bridge systems used in defence and marine applications.

According to the filing, none of the promoters or promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entities and the contracts do not fall under related party transactions.

Domestic Defence Manufacturing Remains in Focus

Indian defence and shipbuilding companies have continued to witness increased procurement activity supported by localisation initiatives and indigenous manufacturing programmes.

The latest order inflows reflect sustained demand for specialised electrical systems, marine automation and integrated operational equipment across shipyard and defence infrastructure projects.
