Mumbai, October 12: McDonald’s India (West & South), operated by Westlife Foodworld Limited, has introduced its Spicy Patakha Range for the festive season, adding two new burgers featuring smoky sauces and makhani-inspired flavours to its menu.
The new range includes the Spicy Patakha Paneer Burger and the Spicy Patakha Chicken Burger. The paneer variant features a spiced paneer patty, while the chicken version comes with a spicy chicken patty. Both are layered with a smoky sauce and served in toasted buns.
According to the company’s announcement, the launch builds on its “Let’s Family at McD” platform, which focuses on bringing people together during everyday occasions and special celebrations. The festive campaign has been conceptualised by McCann India, part of Omnicom Advertising India, and centres on family gatherings and preparations leading up to the celebrations.
Akshay Jatia, CEO of Westlife Foodworld, said the range draws on consumer preferences for familiar, indulgent flavours during the festive period. The company said the new products reflect its approach of adapting its menu to local tastes and changing dining occasions.

The Westlife Foodworld share price stood at ₹584.15 as of 2:50:56 PM IST on October 12, 2026, according to the market data.

New Range Available Across West and South India

Westlife Foodworld operates McDonald’s restaurants across West and South India through its subsidiary, Hardcastle Restaurants Private Limited. The business has a presence across multiple states and union territories and serves customers through dine-in restaurants, drive-throughs and delivery channels.
