Mumbai, June 23: Vedanta, Kirloskar Oil Engines and Piramal Pharma were among the most actively traded stocks as of 12:06:58 PM IST on Tuesday, with investors focusing on metals, engineering, healthcare and select consumer-facing counters.

Trading volumes remained concentrated in a mix of large-cap and mid-cap names, while several stocks posted sharp price moves alongside elevated turnover.

Cochin Shipyard, Piramal Pharma Lead Movers Among Active Counters

Cochin Shipyard emerged as the biggest gainer among the actively traded stocks, rising 15.60% to ₹468.45.

Piramal Pharma advanced 7.67% to ₹170.66, while EMS Ltd gained 5.95% to ₹432.45. Meesho Technologies climbed 4.52% and Kirloskar Oil Engines added 3.10%.

Vedanta, despite being the most traded stock by value, declined 7.83% to ₹281.90.

ICICI Bank remained relatively stable, gaining 0.35%, while Reliance Industries traded marginally lower.

The HDFC Bank share price and Infosys share price remained among the most closely watched large-cap counters due to their significant contribution to overall market turnover.

Turnover Remains Strong Across Diverse Sectors

Several stocks generated substantial trading value during the session. Vedanta recorded turnover exceeding ₹4,21,000 lakh, while Kirloskar Oil Engines, Piramal Pharma, HDFC Bank and Infosys also witnessed strong investor participation.
