Vodafone Idea, IFCI and Yes Bank topped the most active equities list, while MCloud Technologies and NIACL delivered strong gains amid heavy trading activity.
Mumbai, June 18: Vodafone Idea, IFCI and Yes Bank remained the most actively traded stocks on Thursday as investors continued to focus on telecom, financial and public sector counters amid elevated market participation.
According to exchange data, several banking, infrastructure and technology-linked stocks witnessed substantial trading volumes during the session, with select mid-cap names recording sharp price movements.

Vodafone Idea share price remained the most traded counter by volume, while IFCI witnessed heavy activity despite ending sharply lower.
Financial Stocks Witness Mixed Performance
Financial counters remained at the centre of trading activity.
Yes Bank gained 1.47%, while Utkarsh Small Finance Bank jumped 8.14%. However, IFCI declined 8.46% and IDBI Bank fell 6.45%, making them among the weakest performers within the actively traded segment.
The IFCI share price decline came despite trading volumes exceeding 31 crore shares.
Mid-Cap and Technology Stocks Attract Attention
Several mid-cap counters witnessed strong investor participation.
MCloud Technologies surged 15.13% to ₹32.04, emerging as one of the biggest gainers among actively traded stocks. New India Assurance gained 8.93%, while Adani Power advanced 5.22%.
The MCloud Technologies share price rally was accompanied by volume of more than 7.6 crore shares.
Telecom And Infrastructure Counters Stay Active
Telecom and infrastructure-related names continued to attract trading interest.
Vodafone Idea, HCC and Lloyds Engineering Works featured prominently on the most active equities list, although Lloyds Engineering Works declined 4.49% during the session.
Suzlon Energy also remained among the heavily traded counters despite ending marginally lower.
