MRPL Declares ₹4 Interim Dividend For FY26; Board Fixes March 11 As Record Date

The board of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) approved an interim dividend for FY2025-26, according to a regulatory filing submitted under SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, triggering mild buying interest in the stock during Thursday’s session.
Interim Dividend And Board Decisions
The board authorised an interim dividend of ₹4 per equity share on fully paid-up shares with a face value of ₹10 each, representing a 40% payout for the financial year 2025-26, as disclosed in the company’s exchange communication dated March 3, 2026.
For the purpose of determining eligible shareholders, the company fixed Wednesday, March 11, 2026 as the record date in accordance with Regulation 42 of the SEBI LODR Regulations.
The company stated that the interim dividend will be paid on or before April 2, 2026 to shareholders whose names appear in the register of members or depository records as of the record date.
Alongside the dividend declaration, the board also recommended the appointment of M/s Kumar Naresh Sinha & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for a five-year term from FY2026-27 to FY2030-31, subject to shareholder approval at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
According to the annexure attached to the filing, the firm is a peer-reviewed practising company secretary firm led by Naresh Kumar Sinha, who previously served as Executive Director and Company Secretary at ONGC Ltd and has more than four decades of corporate secretarial and legal experience, including roles at major public sector enterprises.
The board meeting commenced at 16:00 hrs and concluded at 17:40 hrs, as per the disclosure signed by Premachandra Rao G, Company Secretary.
A brief technical note: Under Regulation 30 of SEBI LODR, listed entities must promptly disclose material board decisions, including dividend declarations and key managerial or audit appointments.
