Mukka Proteins Share Price Jumps 2% After ₹474 Crore Work Order Win; Stock Hits Upper Circuit

Thursday, 4th December 2025: The share price of Mukka Proteins Proteins surged 2% on Thursday after the company announced the receipt of a work order worth over ₹474 crore. The stock traded at ₹25.70 compared to its previous close of ₹25.22, valuing the company at ₹842.10 crore.
Following the announcement, the stock surged to hit its upper circuit level of ₹30.25 (20%) on the BSE, marking a strong finish for the day.
The work order has been awarded by Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited to the company’s joint venture with Hardik Gowda and MS Jathin Infra Private Limited. It entails management and disposal of the old leachate in the Mittaganahalli landfill facility and Kannur landfill. The contract shall be implemented within the four-year or until the complete treatment of the existing leachate, which is earlier.
Extraordinary High Trading Volume
There was quite higher than average trading activity along with the price rise. Almost 2 crore shares of Mukka Proteins traded on December 4, 2025- much higher than the average shares of 1 week, 10 lakh shares, and 6 lakh shares in 1 month. The sharp rise in volume implies that there was greater interest among the investors after the order announcement.
Trading Range and Market Behaviour
Prior to Thursday’s breakout, Mukka Proteins had been moving within a narrow range of ₹24 to ₹30.25 for nearly 70 days. This prolonged consolidation created a strong support base for the stock. The recent move toward the upper end of this range signals renewed buying interest and hints at a possible shift in momentum.
Share Price Performance in the Long Run
The overall performance of Mukka Proteins has been mixed despite the latest rally. The stock is up 12% over the past month, yet it remains flat on a three-month basis. It has dropped 10% in the last six months and is down 33% over the past year. The company recorded its 52-week high of ₹43.50 on December 31, 2024, while the 52-week low of ₹23.87 was hit recently on November 10, 2025.
